I notice with every encounter I experience, God presents an opportunity to do his will. I find the minute I connect with someone, my mind begins to fill with thoughts of what I can do to be a blessing. Better yet, what can I do to glorify God.
We are vessels of Christ to be used for God’s purpose. We are here to serve a purpose. We all have a gift to share with the world. In any given situation, the best thing we can do is look for God in it. Our mindset will be like the mind of Christ. God will influence our behavior. 1 Cor 2:16
“The sanctified mind discerns the real beauties of holiness, but the power of discerning and judging about common and natural things is not lost. But the carnal man is a stranger to the principles, and pleasures, and actings of the Divine life. The spiritual man only, is the person to whom God gives the knowledge of his will.” http://mhc.biblecommenter.com/1_corinthians/2.htm
When trials come, take it as a divine intervention where God is protecting and pruning you for the promise. It may not be what you want it to be but it will be what God has designed it to be. It will work for the greater good.
“And we know that alll things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. 29 For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son…” Romans 8:28-29
To believe in God’s provision is to trust he will provide no matter the circumstance. God works on your behalf even when you can’t see him in it. All things will work out for your good. Trust him. Believe in his Word.
We can use failure, obstacles, and even successes to impart wisdom and knowledge. We can use circumstances to bear witness to others of God’s mercy and grace.
Let every encounter be an opportunity to be held accountable to God’s standards as you impart God’s wisdom to others. For it is God’s wisdom we are gifted with. And it is God’s wisdom that is the answer to life’s circumstances. Be a witness. Allow God’s Word to guide you.
God’s wisdom is infinite. It is available to you. Let it drive your thoughts, your actions, and all that you do. Use every opportunity to make a difference in the lives of others. After all, we are all sisters and brothers… in Christ Jesus.
Be blessed! -JD
James 3:17-18 “But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy. 18 Now the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.”
