As believers, when we are properly aligned with the Word of God, we are able to recognize the false pretenses of others who desire to dismantle our character with gossip, lies, and deceit when constantly in negotiation with the enemy to kill, steal, and destroy in their failure to do the right thing.
However, one of the ways we are assured we have grown when faced with opposition is when we choose not to respond to negative, false misrepresentations of the truth opposite of who we are. The minute people point out weaknesses of others and judge them unconducive to who they themselves claim not to be, is an indication of their own hidden weaknesses that ultimately expose who they truly are.
Actions speak louder than words. When someone offends you and you choose not to respond, it doesn’t mean you’re weak. It means you are growing. Because if you can reflect once upon time when you would have given them a piece of your mind but instead chose to ignore the offense and pray for them, you have changed. You have been transformed. You have grown stronger in the Lord and choose to love others in spite of who they are. And the best part God, not you, will be glorified. #randomthought

Colossians 1:9-10 “And so, from the day we heard, we have not ceased to pray for you, asking that you may be filled with the knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, 10 so as to walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to him, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God.” (ESV)
