What happens when the life you prospered and found great joy in changes suddenly and you’re not prepared for it? It happened suddenly and you were not ready to accept it? You were in denial and refused to move from your comfort zone because you were afraid of change.
Out of fear, you became resistant and decided it would be best to stagnate your progress instead of growing from it.
It was easy to be complacent and comfortable because you finally made some changes in your life and you became accomplished and known for your great works just for that season. You even managed to garner a title to identify with when others spoke or referred to you as great. But fame is only temporary. What you do for Christ will last. Don’t get it twisted.
Yet there will be some changes along the way. Can you handle it? God has a way of presenting change for a greater purpose; for a greater good. You see, with change comes new beginnings filled with new purpose. God is preparing you for something greater, on purpose.
As such, before he can elevate you, he has to prune, shape, and refine you. You may not like the change and may even be resistant to it. I say, don’t regret it. In fact, welcome it. Not because your situation may change but some things in you will change. Not just around you but you will be required to change some things about you.
When God opens a door you must be ready to walk through it for such a time as this. Be ready to walk through it. Even in difficult times or situations, trust God. You need to make the most of any situation. God promises something good will come from it. Be ready when it comes. God knows exactly what he’s doing!
Be blessed! – JD
