Oftentimes I hear people as well as myself say how we are living in the last days and seeing signs of the times. And make no mistake about it, we are. If you don’t have a relationship with God or you are not in the right relationship with Him, now is the time to seek him, repent, and get right with him.
We are living on borrowed time. This is just a temporary dwelling place. Jesus is coming back. Be ready. Don’t miss it.
Being a Christian doesn’t mean we’re perfect. We’re flawed. Don’t conform to the ways of this world because someone thinks you should. We are sinners. We all are in need of a Savior. Be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Go to the throne of grace. Boldly ask for forgiveness.
When we make decisions on our own and we believe it was a blessing when things turn out for the good, in spite of our flaws, know it was by God’s grace it turned out for the greater good and not because of what we did.
It is not by our own merit or our works God saves us but it is Christ work on the cross what saves us. God grants us grace even when we don’t deserve it.
Be careful with the decisions you make. Do what pleases God. Count your blessings. Jesus is coming back soon. Be ready.

Ephesians 1:17, 18 “I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give the Spirit of wisdom and revelation that you may know him better. 18 I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people.” (ESV)
Life has a funny way of being very unpredictable. Leaving us uncertain of what’s to come. When we think we got a handle on it and are prepared for it, something out of the ordinary happens.
We will encounter trials, heartbreak, pain, and unusual challenges that may cause us to stumble in our faith. We may fall by the wayside but we remember to never cease praying. We fall down. We get back up. Understanding, God is always with us no matter what.
We may never know what to expect day-to-day. Give thanks to God always. Wake every day believing God for a miracle, no matter the storms. Praise God. He will see you through the storm. No matter how difficult life’s journey may be, invite the presence of God into any situation. Give glory to God. Count your blessings – past, present, and future.
Make a declaration. Let God know you’re grateful. Simply say, “Lord, I Thank You.” Great is thy faithfulness. Tell him, “God, we may not know what the day will bring. We thank you in advance for everything. You’re greatly to be praised. We give you all the glory.”

Psalm 103:1-5 “Bless the Lord, O my soul, and all that is within me, bless his holy name! 2 Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits, 3 who forgives all your iniquity, who heals all your diseases, 4 who redeems your life from the pit, who crowns you with steadfast love and mercy, 5 who satisfies you with good so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.” (ESV)
In a split second I am not going to lie. When faced with things at unexpected times I find myself asking “Really God, Why?” But then the answer comes readily. I know; not “Why me?” But “God, what is it you’re trying to teach me?” Because I know there’s something I need to learn from this. It just takes a minute.
I know nothing happens by coincidence or by chance. I began asking him, “How should I handle this circumstance?” There is a reason for this. There’s an opportunity here that I must not miss. I’m given a chance to count my blessings and give praise. Your promise will be fulfilled. Your power will manifest through me. Your purpose will be accomplished in the plans you have prepared for me.
I fell out of the “why me” trap and walked into his “show me the way.” I learned on that day. What it was I needed to do. The very thing God expects me to. Glorify his name. Praise Him in the midst of my storm. Know that nothing or no one will bring me harm. Rejoice even when I can’t see Him in the midst of the trial. He was there all the while. I know His hand is on me. I have faith the size of a mustard seed. I know He will supply all my needs.
“Often, God asks us to make the choice to do his will before we know the specific details of his plan. That’s because part of God’s plan is to develop in us trust of his character and his benevolence.” (Jon Walker, Grace Creates Devotional)
While I may never understand my life when faced with opposition and struggles that weigh me down. I am clearly aware that God has a plan for me. Although some things in life will remain a mystery, I will lay aside every weight and run the race. Regardless of trials I may face. I may not know all the details but I trust Him with everything. In spite of, my choice is to follow Him always.
Psalm 136: 23-26
“23 He remembered us in our weakness. His faithful love endures forever. 24 He saved us from our enemies. His faithful love endures forever. 25 He gives food to every living thing. His faithful love endures forever. 26 Give thanks to the God of heaven. His faithful love endures forever.”
