One of the biggest misconceptions we have about ourselves is failure to accept the magnitude of our own flaws when in denial of who we truly are and putting blame on others because of the misconception of who we choose to be.
To know you have truly healed from the past or even the present and you have been transformed by the Word of God is to be pure in heart, not evil in intent to destroy or hurt someone for your own selfish gain to feel better about yourself.
You choose to love the naysayers, haters, gossipers and those who desperately want to prove they were right about you because they haven’t changed and are in denial about themselves, bound by their own indiscretions.
They will always find time or a reason to remind others of who you used to be and may never acknowledge who you no longer are. And in all cases it will not matter since it is not a requirement to live.
Until we learn to accept the frailty of humankind and understand we are not an exception to the rule but are a part of it, then we will understand how not to live with the deception but grow and learn from it.
