I GOT A TESTIMONY!

wpid-img_20141117_110646.jpgWhen I look back over my life and think of all God has done for me, I can’t help but to thank him and shout glory! My life is filled with the goodness of God. My heart is full. I have the peace of God. The more my mind and soul are at rest, the less I am distressed. I don’t worry about a thing. I know I’m blessed.

Had my life been this simple years ago, I would have been on top of the world but then I thought, had I not met with trials, trouble, and tribulations, how would I have overcome? Had I not faced insurmountable obstacles causing me to seek God’s help, where then would my provision have come from? Certainly not me. I was a mess myself. I was so messed up and couldn’t get a thing right which caused me a lot of trouble. Every decision I made without God turned into a disaster.

Had I not met with what I felt was a tragedy in the death of my former life when I lost everything, what would I have or where would I be now? Without God, I would have nothing. Every trial, test, tragedy, trouble, and tribulation was for God’s purpose. It strengthen my faith. It wasn’t meant to be finished sooner rather than later. God had a purpose.

For every terrible experience, God intended to use it to accomplish a greater good. Everything I have gone through in my life was for a greater good. People may have left me, folks may have talked about me, and some may have even denied me. But God. I’m a living testimony. I’m still standing.

I found that in every season of my life, even though it took years, God had to work through me, prune, and develop me for my future to arrive here. I’m stronger, wiser, better. I have no regrets. Had it not been for the Lord on my side, my soul would not be at rest. God I thank you. My soul cries yes!

When in distress, take a moment to look over your life and think about the goodness of God. When you meet new trials, remember how great God is and how good He has been to you. Think about all the good things, even in the bad times, that God has done for you. There may have been some bad times and trouble seemed like it was going to last forever. God is a good God. He is always on time. He is sovereign.

We don’t know what a person had to get through to get where they are. They don’t look like what they been through. God brought them this far.

In everything, give thanks to God. It was by his grace you made it. God brought you this far.

Be blessed! -JD

Psalm 71:14-18 “As for me, I will always have hope; I will praise you more and more. 15 My mouth will tell of your righteous deeds, of your saving acts all day long—though I know not how to relate them all. 16 I will come and proclaim your mighty acts, Sovereign Lord; I will proclaim your righteous deeds, yours alone. 17 Since my youth, God, you have taught me, and to this day I declare your marvelous deeds. 18 Even when I am old and gray, do not forsake me, my God, till I declare your power to the next generation, your mighty acts to all who are to come.” (NIV)

Had It Not Been for the Lord on My Side, I Don’t Know Where I Would Be

wpid-img_20141012_095619.jpgGod I thank you for who I am and who I used to be, because had it not been for who I was, I wouldn’t be who I am today to walk in my destiny. Thank you Jesus!

Thank you for remaining faithful to me when I ignored your promises. When I doubted you, you never left me.

When I disregarded you, you loved me anyway. Thank you for letting me stay. You granted brand new mercies, even when I didn’t deserve it.

Jesus came that we may have life, and have it more abundantly. He’s able to do exceedingly, abundantly. The devil won’t win. It is finished.

God is good! Checked my balance on my mercy card today. God filled it with increase, overflow, brand new grace and mercy. I got the victory!

Dear devil, thank you for every attack you sent to destroy me. You don’t know what you did for me. It brought me to my knees, thanking Jesus!

Had it not been for the Lord on my side, I don’t know where I would be. Thank you Lord for never leaving me and always being with me.

Be blessed! -JD

Psalm 27:1-3 “The Lord is my light and my salvation—whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life—of whom shall I be afraid? 2 When the wicked advance against me to devour me, it is my enemies and my foes who will stumble and fall. 3 Though an army besiege me, my heart will not fear; though war break out against me, even then I will be confident.” (NIV)

Lord, I Won’t Complain. I Will Rejoice! I Have Been Faithful Over Little Things; Assured Greater is Coming

wpid-img_20140819_074308.jpgToday was a quiet day of reflection on the things God needed to reveal to me in this journey I’ve traveled which seemed like forever. Not realizing when looking over the last year how much God has moved in my life. I realized there were some things he needed to perfect in me before revealing his ultimate plans for me.

All I could do was thank Him over and over for the journey even when I didn’t understand it. July marked one year I began making progress in my endeavors and thought because of my limitations I was not getting anywhere. When after reviewing my records, in actuality I realized God brought me a mighty long ways. I’ve made progress because of God’s divine favor. Today I’m rejoicing and looking forward to all he has in store for me. I’m praising God in advance for the victory.

People often say they are blessed not realizing the magnitude and power in their words. However, I am a living witness of the power of God’s Word. I am a living witness of how faithful and loving my God is, in spite of the many challenges I’ve faced over the years. Doubtful at times, feeling inadequate as though I could not be used by God. The devil is a liar and the truth ain’t in him! God is using me. I’m still standing.

I’m more than a conqueror. I am a victor, not a victim. I can do all things through Christ Jesus who strengthens me. And when I say I am truly blessed, I know that I am. It is all because of God’s faithfulness. He’s my rock, my redeemer. Lord, I won’t complain. I will rejoice! I have been faithful over little things; assured greater is coming. “His master said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant. You have been faithful over a little; I will set you over much. Enter into the joy of your master’” (Matthew 25:23).

Praise God through the process. He’s preparing you. Don’t get weary in well doing. In due season you shall reap a reward. Greater is coming!

Be blessed! -JD

Psalm 145:15-19 “15 The eyes of all look to you, and you give them their food in due season. 16 You open your hand; you satisfy the desire of every living thing. 17 The Lord is righteous in all his ways and kind in all his works. 18 The Lord is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth. 19 He fulfills the desire of those who fear him; he also hears their cry and saves them. Declare and Decree, I’m Blessed. I Got the Victory!

wpid-img_20140429_070408.jpgGood morning!

Blessed are the poor in spirit. Blessed are the meek. God is good. You will be blessed going in and coming out. Shout victory!

No weapon formed against you shall prosper. No harm will come to you. You’re too blessed to be stressed about anything. God has been, will be, and is good to you.

Declare and decree, I’m blessed. I got the victory!

Matthew 5:3-12 “Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. 4 Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted. 5 Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth. 6 Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled. 7 Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy. 8 Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God. 9 Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God. 10 Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. 11 “Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. 12 Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you.
