Merry Christmas from my family to yours! Good morning!
God we give you the highest praise for the gift of your one and only Son, Jesus Christ; Hallelujah!
For unto us a Savior was born, a baby lying in a manger in Bethlehem. “…And his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace” (Isaiah 9:6).
It is on this day we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ our Lord.
Tis the reason for the season. Glory to God.
Have a blessed and Merry Christmas!
Be Blessed! – JD
Isaiah 9:6 “For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counseller, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace” (KJV).
“And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins. 22 Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, 23 Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.” Matthew 1:21-23
Today is Christmas, the day we celebrate the birth of Christ, and I can’t help but sit here and reflect on the significance of its true meaning as I get goose bumps and marvel in the fact of how thankful and grateful I am to God that He sent His One and Only begotten Son as a gift to us who died on the cross that we may have everlasting life.
Christmas is not about whether or not we get presents but the privilege of Jesus’ presence in our lives. Therefore be thankful not for what you didn’t get but for what you have; the gift of Jesus Christ. To God be the glory! Lord we are grateful. Hallelujah!
As you celebrate this holiday, not just today but every day, give glory, honor, and praise to God and always remember the true reason for the season is Jesus.
From my family to yours, Merry Christmas!
Be blessed! -JD
