Know The Difference Between True And False Discernment. Don’t Fall Prey To Masked Deception

True Discernment JoaynnGod doesn’t use ministers of the gospel or witnesses to pick and choose who the Word applies to. It speaks to every situation no matter who you are. God’s grace offers salvation to everyone (Titus 2:11).

The gospel is for everyone. However, it is up to you to recognize when it does and not blame others because you fail to see what is in the heart of another when blinded by your own flaws.

Although all of our situations are different, the Word in any instance applies to each and every one of us and can be applied to every area of our lives; if and when we allow it. People often confuse true discernment with false discernment marked by a false perception of reality, criticism, judgment, lack of trust, lack of faith characterized by an inability to love with God’s love. Tarnished by past experiences if they possibly may not have truly healed.

Stop misinterpreting the message when you don’t want to hear or admit the truth about yourself. Learn the difference between true discernment and false discernment. The gift of discernment is the ability to recognize what is genuine from what is deception; what is of God from what is not of God. Know the difference. ‪#‎randomthought

Hebrews 4:12 “For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart.” (ESV)

As Long As You Are In The Right Standing With God Don’t Worry About Where You Stand With Others

Right Standing With God JoaynnAs believers, when we are properly aligned with the Word of God, we are able to recognize the false pretenses of others who desire to dismantle our character with gossip, lies, and deceit when constantly in negotiation with the enemy to kill, steal, and destroy in their failure to do the right thing.

However, one of the ways we are assured we have grown when faced with opposition is when we choose not to respond to negative, false misrepresentations of the truth opposite of who we are. The minute people point out weaknesses of others and judge them unconducive to who they themselves claim not to be, is an indication of their own hidden weaknesses that ultimately expose who they truly are.

Actions speak louder than words. When someone offends you and you choose not to respond, it doesn’t mean you’re weak. It means you are growing. Because if you can reflect once upon time when you would have given them a piece of your mind but instead chose to ignore the offense and pray for them, you have changed. You have been transformed. You have grown stronger in the Lord and choose to love others in spite of who they are. And the best part God, not you, will be glorified. ‪#‎randomthought

Colossians 1:9-10 “And so, from the day we heard, we have not ceased to pray for you, asking that you may be filled with the knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, 10 so as to walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to him, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God.” (ESV)

No Matter What Man Says, It’s WorkABLE. God Says All Things Are Possible. My Faith Tells Me It’s WinnABLE!

wpid-img_20150224_224025.jpgRain may pour like a river. God never promised there wouldn’t be storms. He promised he will be with us and see us through the storm. Keep the faith. Hold on.

Today I received some very disappointing news that at first caught me off guard to the point where I couldn’t think and immediately became confused asking myself, “Now what?” After regrouping not asking why but accepting the fact that it was out of my control, I thought, nothing comes as a surprise to me anymore because life is life and can change in a split second, oftentimes either causing us to give up hope or persevere.

I’m not going to lie, at times I am very tempted to give up on my dreams when faced with challenges unexpectedly, only to feel incapable mentally or physically. But God is ABLE. His love is undeniABLE. He’s indescriABLE. uncontainABLE. He’s more than capABLE. Therefore, anything is conceivABLE, obtainABLE.

I choose to persevere. I won’t give up easily. I will put in the effort, no matter what I see. I believe all things are probABLE. I have more evidence for than against; the Word of God. Anything is doABLE. Regardless of what man say, it’s workABLE. My FAITH tells me it’s winnABLE. I am a strong-minded person. and count it unacceptABLE.  My FAITH in God is unbelivABLE. I am unshakABLE. With God I win. My God is ABLE. Amen!

When God closes one door, praise him in the hallway. He’s opening a new door filled with miracles and blessings. Praise God. Thank you Jesus!

Thank God for what you went through. You had to go through it to get to where you’re going to. God has a greater plan. Trust his plan. When there is nothing else you can do, Stand!

Be blessed! –JD

2 Corinthians 12:9 “But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me.”’

You Gotta Speak to the Devil in a Language He Understands; Let Him Know You’re not Playing!

wpid-textgram_1394220711.pngThe greater the reward, the harder the attack the devil will bring. Satan attacked Jesus after he had a great blessing. Devil, you should have learned your lesson with him. You can do all you want but you will not win. You may be busy because you know the breakthrough is near. But you are not welcome here.

Sometimes you have to speak to the devil in a language he understands. Let him know you’re not playing. If you’re not sure what to say to him, here are a few examples I put together you can use to rebuke him.

Devil, I see you and I know what you’re up to. You know what God is getting ready to do. You can’t have what you came for because God sees you too. I serve a mighty God! No weapon formed against me shall prosper.

You’re a liar! We’re covered by the blood. I’m serving you notice today. I advise you to take heed to it.  God told me to tell you, you will take your dirty, filthy hands off friends and family, and anyone associated with me. I’m calling you out today. God will have his way!

Devil, you have been warned. Touch not my anointed, do my prophets no harm (1Chr 16:22). You will return to pits of Hades where you belong. We are in spiritual warfare but the battle does not belong to us. We have put on weapons of warfare against you and God is fighting this battle for us.

The battle is not ours, it’s the Lord’s. I’ve turned you over to God. I declare and decree, we will have the victory! God said it. I believe it. That settles it. We are under God’s covering and he will have the last say. You will not have your way today. Take that and run. And with that said I’m done. In Jesus’ name, it’s already done!

You gotta speak to the devil in a language he understands. Let him know you’re not playing. Speak the Word of God and he will flee. #PraisetheLord! You got the victory!

Be blessed! –JD

Deuteronomy 20:3-4 “3He shall say: “Hear, Israel: Today you are going into battle against your enemies. Do not be fainthearted or afraid; do not panic or be terrified by them. 4For the LORD your God is the one who goes with you to fight for you against your enemies to give you victory.”
